Chemistry Credit Exam 

THREE REQUIREMENTS TO TAKE THE CREDIT EXAM:
#01.  TECH ID CARD MUST BE PRESENTED TO TAKE THE CREDIT EXAM
#02. YOUR TECH EMAIL ACCOUNT MUST BE "ACTIVE"
#03.  BRING #2 lead pencil and a calculator.

The following University rubrics (Academic Policies section of the University Catalog) control the administration of this credit exam.
1) Students may register for the credit exam only during regular registration periods.
2) No credit exam can be given to a student who has not properly registered for the exam.
3) No credit exam can be given to a student who
     a) has previously attempted the course for credit,
     b) earned credit in a higher sequence course,
     c) or did not receive approval from the program chair responsible for the course.

A chemistry credit exam can be attempted only once for a given course.

Prerequisite requirements are applied to the credit exams.  A student must pass the credit exams in sequence.  Students can enroll for only one credit exam at a time.

Each exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions.
The answers on the Scantron are controlling and determine the grade.

After the exams are graded, the results will be reported on Moodle.

A score of 70% is required to gain credit.
Scores will be posted on Moodle.

Students who do not gain credit through the examination process should drop Section E01 and add into a regular lecture section of the appropriate chemistry class.
