American Chemical Society (ACS) member since 1966 and have been on ACS Local Section Tour Speaker since 1989 on Cooperative Education, Industrial Chemistry and the Chemistry of Wine. American Society for Enology and Viticulture member since 1973. Past President of the California Association of Chemistry Teachers. Past Chairman of the San Gorgonio ACS Section. Member of the Los Angeles Society for Coatings Technology (LASCT) since 1994 - Outstanding Service Award 1996, Employment Committee Chair 1996-7. Outstanding Advisor College of Science, Cal Poly Pomona, 1996. Director of Cal Poly's Co-op Education program which was selected as the Outstanding 4-Year University Co-op Program in 1996 by the California Co-op Education Association. Designed and act as chief advisor for the Industrial Chemistry option for the Chemistry major at Cal Poly Pomona. Active in sports: basketball, bowling and past President of the Claremont Little League.
