  • California Co-op Education Association (CCEA) board member since 1990, President (1996-7).
  • Cooperative Education Association member.
  • American Chemical Society (ACS) member since 1966 and have been on ACS Local Section Tour Speaker since 1989 on Cooperative Education, Industrial Chemistry and the Chemistry of Wine.
  • American Society for Enology and Viticulture member since 1973.
  • Past President of the California Association of Chemistry Teachers.
  • Past Chairman of the San Gorgonio ACS Section.
  • Member of the Los Angeles Society for Coatings Technology (LASCT) since 1994 - Outstanding Service Award 1996, Employment Committee Chair 1996-7.
  • Outstanding Advisor College of Science, Cal Poly Pomona, 1996.
  • Director of Cal Poly's Co-op Education program which was selected as the Outstanding 4-Year University Co-op Program in 1996 by the California Co-op Education Association.
  • Designed and act as chief advisor for the Industrial Chemistry option for the Chemistry major at Cal Poly Pomona.
